Nature is what we see—

The Hill—the Afternoon—

Squirrel—Eclipse— the Bumble bee—

Nay—Nature is Heaven—

Nature is what we hear—

The Bobolink—the Sea—

Thunder—the Cricket—

Nay—Nature is Harmony—

Nature is what we know—

Yet have no art to say—

So impotent Our Wisdom is

To her Simplicity.

This is just a brief note to acknowledge precious Mama Earth Day - our home gets a little lost in the seemingly “more important” priorities of the day. At least for some. Delighted to say that we are focusing on this appreciation of our planet in our May online classes where “Mudita meets and arises from Earth”.

As I start preparing for my trip to Tennessee I am deeply grateful that we have the opportunity to have this retreat in this sacred space in the gently rolling hills of TN. Along with our gracious and kindly hosts Diane and Adam, the amazing cooks guided by Mathew and his crew, and the superb bodyworkers that support us all, the more than human elements of this place stay vibrant in the memories of those of us who have been there over the years.
