This 4 week series will be an overview of the yoga practice and will introduce basic yoga principles to the beginner or student who is seeking a review before joining a regular class. There will be handouts and some short audio recordings to encourage students to do a little practice at home where possible. Yoga is an ancient science and art that has a great deal to offer 21st century human beings. It can help with postural issues, improve one’s respiration, digestion and overall health. Our practice will both strengthen and stretch the body and bring harmony to mind, body and spirit. Please note there are no drop-ins or makeups for this class but you will receive the extra materials if you have to miss a class.
